SPCA, and MUSICAL NIGHT!!! and some rantings...,

Now it seems like each week I go to SPCA, I enjoy it even more. The good, the bad, all the experiences I'm gaining, its different each week, and each becomes a valuable memory I'm not likely to forget. In fact, I've discovered today that SPCA seems to be the only place so far that I can actually de-stress fully...considering I've been teethering on the brink of sheer stress and exhaustion for the past week...It was only with the doggies that I could actually "forget" all the problems temporarily...

Anyway, I've decided that everytime I blog after going to SPCA, I'll post a featured pet-of-the-week here on my blog. Mostly, it'll be the one who actually stood still for a picture...hehe...So, remember to check it out, and do leave a comment or inquiry...*grins*

So anyway, featured pet of the week: Pepe!!!

This utterly adorable Cocker Spaniel has a nasty case of skin disease, quite sad to see, really...but omg, he is SO SO SO SO SO SO SWEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reve allowed me to let him out, and WOW...no sign of self-pity (like humans do) or anything of that sort! There's not a mean bone in this adorable dog's body, he's a furry bundle of love!!! He was 100% obedient, always following me around, and answering immediately when I call him. We're treating him with that miracle Pine oil at the moment...his skin ailment will probably clear up soon, and we're hoping a kind soul will come and fall in love with this sweet fellow...I sure did.....

Also, in loving memory of Rachel, the sweet, loving, Dalmatian who was in SPCA longer than I've been volunteering. After a battle with kidney failure, the poor soul was finally put out of her misery this afternoon...I was truly upset when I saw her being led in the green room, but I suppose its a kinder way...considering how much she's been through...Reve said she was in constant pain, and wherever you are now, Rachel, may you be well and happy always................

Molly's adopted. I sure hope her new owners will treat her like the princess that she is. Priscilla'll make sure of that, though. After all, she's been fostering little Molly since she was a half blind pup.

And a terrible case of cruelty that Mr Allan and Rajes responded to this morning. Jacinta, Reve, and I gave the exact same reaction when we saw the pictures Mr Allan showed us.

"OH MY GOD!!!!!!"

I mean, HOW CAN HUMANS BE SO DARN CRUEL!!! This dog had apparently got into a fight with the neighbour's dogs, and the owner ABSOLUTELY REFUSES to take it to the Vet, or at least, surrender the poor creature to SPCA?! ^*$%^$@#$!$@%^%$&*%^%$%#@$@#$^$%">#$^*$;%*(%^*$%^$@#$!$@%^%$^&(%^%$%#@$@#$^$%'>^*$%^$@#$!$@%^%$*%^%$%#@$@#$^$%">#$^*$;%*(%^*$%^$@#$!$@%^%$^&(%^%$%#@$@#$^$%

(Its just that I never use really foul language, so that keysmash is probably the closest thing..)

You guys can spark a debate/rant/forum on how ^$#@#$">%^$#@#$ these people are...Believe it or not, the owner utterly refused to put any medicine, and the traces of yellow lotion you see on its fur were actually used on the poor dog by a neighbour. Look at the poor dog's head...

Again, how can any human BE SO CRUEL??!! WE SHOULD HAVE THE SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY AND RESPECT TOWARDS THE BEINGS THAT SHARE THIS PLANET WITH US!!!!! DAMN, HOW CAN HUMANS BE SO SELFISH!!! LEAVING A DOG TO SUFFER FROM SUCH SERIOUS WOUNDS, AND TO LET IT GO UNTREATED!!! WOULD YOU LET YOUR OWN CHILD'S WOUNDS GO UNTREATED LIKE THAT??!! THE POOR FELLOW MUST BE IN SUCH PAIN!!!! DAMN YOU, WHOEVER YOU ARE...DAMN YOU.....

Sometimes I still can't understand myself...why am I throwing my 110% into this again...Sems to be a reenactment of QM camp; PSS, ending up shouldering as much burden as I can to make a project/task/duty successful, taking on responsibility and blame...some tell me I'm asking for it, some tell me I'm a darn idiot, some tell me its good...but somehow, I CAN'T let a project die (believe me, I've tried...my conscience just doesn't allow me...), and through the frustration, exhaustion, whatever...I feel a sense of satisfaction that I'm doing my duty...Dumb, huh? Never mind, doubt anyone will be able to understand this at all...

Uh...Somehow, don't ask me why, this reminds me of something from Geass (oh darn, I'm talking anime...darn...darn...) Btw...Geass is...Wow...*dying for Summer 2007, which, by the way, I have no idea when...*

Oh yeah, Anime Fest is on 30th June 2007. There'll be karaoke, cosplay, fan art, PS2 competition, and yours truly dancing some EXTREMELY ACT-CUTE DANCE with Hui Yen and another 2 committees...
