Pictures, Food, and LOADS of CHEESE...=P

Haha...thought I'd upload one more pic of the hospital attachment. What do you guys think? Ever seen real surgeons doing the Peace sign? Lol...Kidding....

Anyway, Ling Hui, Yen, Basil, Hee Ian and I decided to go for Pizza today, and well, lets just say we have finally attained a new level of pizza-eating mania, namely under the influence of a certain bottle of cheese.....
Oh not just that...Throughout the entire day today, I was practically (as Hee Ian put it) CHEESE-erized...=P

*whack on head*

Ok...ok...I'll explain myself.
You know the bottle of cheese powder we always get in PizzaHut to put on our pizzas? Well, as Yen and I, and probably the rest of them adore the very taste of cheese, we would usually heap as much of cheese powder as our pizzas could take. This was until some time ago, Ling Hui introduced us to the art of adding some cheese powder into the soup as well. (trust me, its not as bad as it sounds)

So today, as we were guzzling down cheese-mushroom soup, Ling Hui casually remarked that it was quite possible for us to finish the entire bottle of cheese powder at the rate we were eating.

Well, guess what, we took up the challenge! More cheese into the soup, much more on the pizza, some on the bread, and even some on the already extremely cheesy sphaggeti!!!

The "climax" of it was towards the end, as Ling Hui ordered more soup, and we just opened the entire bottle cover and poured practically all of it into the soup. *grimace...wasn't my idea...*

Haha...all of us were staring at it in "horror", until Hee Ian volunteered to take the first sip. This of course, gave us the courage to finish the extremely cheesy soup.

Well, as if that wasn't bad enough, Ling Hui remarked that the only food that hadn't been Cheese-e-rized was the Coke.

(gasps of horror)

And yes, we really did it.

Sprinkled some cheese into drink, and everyone had to drink some of the admittedly disgusting looking coke. (Imagine yellow powder floating, and practically covering the surface of the black liquid)

On the way back to college, we were cracking jokes on how we were all going to end up in SJMC the next day (touch wood) bearing the same symptoms that would later result into a new disease, PCD...PizzaHut Cheese Disorder...Muahaha...

The irony of it? PizzaHut should have banned us from coming and draining their cheese supply, but they actually gave us EIGHT DISCOUNT COUPONS to go back again!!!

Before...

After...

Hmmm...We'll bring a larger cheese eating gang next time.

*****

Anyway, when I got home, mom gave me some CHEESEcake she bought, as I wouldn't have dinner until after Taekwando. Haha...cheese again...

And after Taekwando class today, which, may I add, had all of us groaning in agony, Yen and I actually stopped by a mamak stall nearby, and were subsequently tempted to try their "specialty"...Roti Canai Hawaii...

Ok, apart from the fact that it was entirly covered in mayonaise and chilli sauce, it actually wasn't bad! Especially the sausages, meat, and CHEESE that filled the entire roti canai...

Hospital Attachment (DAMN COOL) and Orchestra Performance

As there's been so many events in so short a time, I'll just merge the Hospital Attachment and Klavier Splendour (with Sharon, Ling Hui, and Wan Kimm) into one post. Pics included.

Oh ya, before that, updates from Ah Long. She said she went kayaking, and starting this week, she'll be doing Community Service twice a week.

The hospital attachment program (organised by Taylors, not JPA) was truly an eye-opening experience! Ok, credits to the fact that there were only 8 of us there, so we were given maximum exposure of Taman Desa Medical Center.

Frankly, the first day was rather dull, apart from the tour around the X-ray department. We started out in the Pharmacy, which, admittedly had slightly discouraged all the would-be pharmacists in the group *cough hint Basil*. Everyone seemed rather put off by the stay-in-a-dinghy-room-all-day-dispensing-meds kind of life. Well, pharmacy had never really appealed to me, but still...

Next stop: The X-Ray department. This was more interesting, as we were even showed real images from a CT scan, rotatted and "sliced" in the computer, and even the CT scan machine itself! The jovial radiographer then took us to the General X-Ray room, where he explained in detail about the process of X-Ray, as well as the safety structures of the room. He even demonstrated the structure of the cassete by wedging it open and doing the X-Ray with everyone safe behind the glass panel.

After the General X-ray, we were taken to the Mammography Room, and later on to the Ultrasound room where Yik Sheng became the "patient" and all of us got to view is liver via ultrasound. Before leaving the X-ray department, we dropped by the dark room where the X-Ray pictures were printed out. There, the radiographer busied himself grumbling about unskillful X-Ray taking, while showing us all sorts of pictures of X-Ray mistakes of all over the body! Man, they should give all these imperfect slides to the schools...I'm sure the Pergerakan dan Sokongan topic could really use them...

Ok, then began the really dull part. W-A-I-T-I-N-G. We were scheduled to talk to (more like interrogated by) a senior GP in the hospital. However, as he was really busy, we had to wait for AGES before he could actually spare some time to see us, and mind you, that was already about lunch time. Thank goodness Erik had loaded the entire Sound of Music into his (read: BRAND NEW) iPod, and we spent the time watching and humming all the songs.

Finally, the doctor consented to meet us, and then began a half an hour long talk on why should not become doctors but should take up AGRICULTURE instead. (??!!) Better prospects, apparently..........

Frankly, we were rather restless (and HUNGRY), so we were quite thankful when the "take up Agriculture" lecture ended. Wei Han then drove Erik, Basil, and me off to lunch.

The agenda after lunch was another discussion, this time with a kind but sharp-tongued General Surgeon. 5 minutes in his office, and we were all beginning to feel like the Amoeba he kept mentioning. (he kept repeating that students felt like Amoeba when they started their housemanship) He would quiz us, then when we failed to answer he would sigh theatrically, and remark on how unprepared we were. However, when he started elaborating on his work and some of the more interesting cases (something about a psychiatric patient delivering a baby in the psychiatric ward), we could see how passionate he really was about his profession. All of us couldn't help but feel a deep respect for his passion, (and the fact that he was reading medical journals in lower secondary). If the first doctor kept repeating the word "AGRICULTURE", this one was going on and on about doctors being THINKERS, the importance of INSPECTION, as well as AMOEBA...

3 hours later, we were "released" and Erik's dad dropped Chong Yong and I back in Taylors.

The next day, though involved a lot more of the W-A-I-T-I-N-G, was far more interesting. Our first destination that morning was to the A&E (Accident & Emergency) department, which, may I add, was totally void of patients.

After seeing all the gadgets and machines to resuscitate and stabilise patients and briefed on the A&E procedures, we were sent to the Laboratory (Pathology Lab) on the First Floor. Those had VERY high tech (at least to our jakun-ded eyes) machines that seemed to be able to do EVERYTHING; from blood count to newborn baby screening.

Of course, we couldn't wait for the highlight of our attachment, the tour of the Operation Theater. However, this was when all the waiting started. You see, we needed the patient's consent before they allowed us to enter and watch the operation (YES, WE GET TO WATCH!!! LIVE!!!) The patient undergoing the first procedure, a Caesarean, did not want students hanging around, and the second procedure was postponed because the patient had developed a fever. Therefore, from 10am to 1am, we had nothing to do whatsoever.

Off we went for lunch.

Surgeon junior? Lol...

When we returned at 1, we were asked to gown up like all the medical staff in the OT, and then given a tour of the VERY STICKY (floor, I mean, due to some detergent, apparently) Operation Theater by one of the nurses. This included the OT, Sluice room (for dirty equipment), Scrub room, and the Sterilising area where they "cooked" the instruments.

Waiting again...

Finally, the patient arrived and we were ushered into the OT where the jovial anesthetist explained to us how he sedated the patient (barbiturates and stuff). Then, he intubated her right in front of our eyes.

When he was done, the surgeon came in, and guess who? It was the General Surgeon from the day before! (cue amoeba feeling) He was fuming over the fact that the guys had had placed their shoes in the guys locker, when it was supposed to be OUTSIDE the rest room.

Matters aside, we were all continually bombarded with questions as he operated to removed the cyst from the patient's breast. And omg...the way he operated...I suppose he was so professional it must have been a routine with him, but all of us, especially the girls, were WINCING. It wasn't the blood, or the sight of the flesh, it was the way the doctor cut, poked his finger in and out, burnt off bleeding blood vessels...everyone was like OUCH!!!!!

Oh yeah, none of us will EVER forget the name of that soldering iron burn-off-blood vessels thingy EVER, after bing interrogated over and over again on whats its name. DYTAMINE!!! (not sure if its spelt right, though...

The cyst was HUGE. I mean, I expected something small, but this was amazing. It was quite a bit smaller than a ping pong ball, but quiet a bit larger than a marble. To be enabled such a comparison...get it?

Finally, the cyst was removed. Well, I never really knew this, but the surgeon did not cut it away from the flesh, he used the Dytamine thingy to burn the tissue off slowly.

Just then, we were informed that there was another C-Section coming in. We were positively thrilled at the prospect of seeing the process of a new life being brought into the world. In fact, we were so excited and jumpy; I supposed the father-to-be was wondering, who were the teens that were waiting outside the OT with him, looking about as nervous and excited as he was. We were all mulling around outside OT2, until they splashed the lady's abdomen with iodine, and then allowed us and the father to enter.

If the previous was a relatively simple, though "painful" operation to watch, this was BLOODY. The incision made was the entire length of the lady’s abdomen, and this time, instead of the soldering iron thing, a suction tube thingy had to be used to remove all the blood into a cylinder.

We could see all the layers of the skin on the mother's abdomen; this included even the fat tissue below...

When the surgeon reached the uterus, however, things started to get real messy (messy for us, not the docs). The surgeon sliced through the uterus (blood starts flowing out) and then ALL THREE of them used their gloved hands and RIPPED THE UTERUS TISSUE OPEN!!! OMG...It was as if they were OPENING A DURIAN or something. We could see them straining and using ALL THEIR STRENGHT to rip it apart. By then, the blood was gushing out, and we were beginning to wonder whether the operation was still going on fine.

Turns out, it was just a routine procedure. The surgeons had everything under control.

She reached into the mass of blood and pink tissue, and pulled out the infant (a boy). Tilting the baby a little, he started to cry, and the umbilical cord was clamped and snipped. I could see it in my friends; we were all in awe at the new life that had emerged before us...

The baby was then taken outside to a heated infant resuscitation machine to keep him warm, and ensure that he was receiving adequate oxygen. We could hear the infant's cries all the way inside the OT, and couldn't help exchanging smiles with each other.

The doctor then collected the blood from the umbilical cord into a packet, meaning to store that as stem cells. Then, she began tugging on the cord, and within moments, the entire placenta was dragged out of the uterus. It was dark red, a huge mass of wrinkled, bloody tissue which the doc later described as "flowery"...

When the placenta was out, she began to close the wound.

We finally realized that the part on getting the baby out was the fastest part; the rest of the time was spent on sewing the mother back together. Frankly, I just could not see how the doctor was going to seal the gaping wound. The blood that was gushing out continually could have easily caused a haemo-phobic person to faint. (Thank goodness none of us were...)

Well, now if anyone asked me what skill did one need to become a doctor, I would definitely include SKILLFUL, STEADY HANDS!!! The blood never really stopped trickle of blood into the flow. There was already a lot of blood-soaked gauze and flowing out, and each puncture she made with that fish-hook like needle added another stream of red. Red, soaking wet gauze and abdominal pads littering the OT. The nurse was hard at work with the suction, and slowly, most of the blood was drained into the cylinder.

No words can describe the speed and efficiency the surgeon sewed the perineum, muscles, and skin back together. They were even so relaxed that before they started really closing, the surgeon was gracious enough to further enthrall us by showing us the Ovaries, the Fallopian tiub, etc etc etc...

Finally, the wound was closed, and there we were, gaping in amazement at the woman's stomach that bore nothing more than just one line across. Had I not seen it with my own eyes, I probably would not have believed that less than an hour ago, that same wound was gushing so much blood.

All in all, it was truly an eye-opener.

*****

The very next day was the Taylors Award Presentation Day. I was already out of formal clothing, so I ended up taking Jo Ann's advice: "recycling"...Haha...HAd to borrow my cousin's skirt, though...

I was nearly late for the event as I was very intent on recording my hospital attachment experiences before they faded from my (short-term) memory. But nevertheless, when I got to the hall, I found that many of my friends were also ALMOST late for the same reason, using the com without noticing the time.

I sat with Jo Ann and Mee Wei throughout the entire ceremony (we camwhored out of boredom). There was a lot of photo sessions as well; the one by categories, the entire group pic (we expected the stage was about to crumble) and later on after the award ceremony, us Group 1 students had to take pictures according to our schools. (For the Subang Utama pic, we were asked to HUG each other on stage, and to lunge forward...) SS betul...

Camwhoring...Out of Sheer Boredom...Mee Wei and I...
And again...Jo Ann and I...

*****

Sharon had the nerve to tell me that we were allowed to wear JEANS to watch Klavier Splendour in the Malaysian Tourism Center. *breathes sigh of relief as I was really out of "formal" stuff*

That morning, my violin teacher, Mr Hao specifically EMPHASISED that jeans were NOT ALLOWED!!! Uh Oh...*glares at Sharon*

Therefore, I had to "recycle" my slacks.

Kimm and Ling Hui arrived at my house and played with the dogs for a while before Sharon's dad came and whisked us all away to MTC. In the car, I was enjoying myself GROSSING Ling Hui out with my extremely descriptive tales of the Caeserean and the cyst removal...MUAHAHA...

Overall, the performance lived up to expectations. Most of the pieces (except Sungai Pahang) were from the Classical era, and were well portrayed by the orchestra and the soloists.

Speaking of soloists, we were all being wannabe critics, passing intellectual comments on their playing style, expression, and tempo. However, the very last soloist to play, who performed Chopin's Variations from Don Juan, just blew us off our feet, intellectual speech and all. Kimm and I were desperately trying to find words to describe it She had the stamina of machine, yet the grace and expression of one who was fully in tune with the instrument, so much so that they combined as one; not a pianist and a piano but a singular unit that was both mesmerising to watch and hear. (Ok, my description stinks) In short, she gave a "whole new meaning to 'flying fingers'..."

Oh yeah, mention must be made of the emcees, who were two siblings, both of which I recognised as 2nd violinists in th PJ Philharmonic. They made some relatively "lame" comments ("Mr Lam, can you write a Sungai Klang for me? or Sungai Gombak?" during the performance of Sungai Pahang...Lol...) However, it did add a dash of humour into the otherwise serious performance...

During the 20 minute intermission, all of us came out of the hall to serach for food. I was tasing Sharon non-stop that during the performance of Sungai Pahang, she was busy fantasising about all the seafood she could get from that river...LOL...

So, off we went and ordered some sandwihes, but UNFORTUNATELY, they DID NOT ARRIVE even after the 20 minute intermission was over. Having no choice and much to Sharon's dismay, we forgot about the sandwiches and returned to the hall. Ling Hui jokingly said that they were probably still PLANTING the cucumbers...

Guess what...

We returned to the restaurant after the performance, and our sandwiches and wedges were waiting for us, COLD, and wrapped up in some plastic...

Anyway, will elaborate more some other time. College is reopening tomorrow and I really have to get get my things ready, or risk.................................................

SPCA...

Thought I'd give you guys as insight to the life in SPCA. Oh ya, we'll be having a Jumble Sale on the 29th, would be nice if you guys can come help out, or justcome to buy stuff, etc...

If you all wanna get a dog/cat, remember to think about the animals in SPCA a...(PS: Kimberly's going on the 29th, and she is planning on adopting a dog there...)

So anyway, Staurday...another full day at SPCA...Tiring, yes, but no doubt, one of the best agendas of my weekly schedule.

Usually I get to take the big dogs out for a romp when Ee Lynn's around, cos she's more experienced in handling the dogs than I am. In addition, we walk them along the main road, so there's always a danger of the dogs dashing into the flow of traffic. As Ee Lynn said she would come on Sunday instead, instead of taking the kennel-housed big dogs out, I took the smaller dogs caged behind the office for short walks outside.

SPCA is full to the brim, though. Even some of the D kennels house FOUR dogs in one! It didn't help that there was only 1 dog adoption today, though plenty of cats were rehomed. This led to some of the puppies being put down again..that dreaded pink liquid..

Makes me wonder, how can I become a vet if I can't imagine myself doing euthanasia...

Anyway, I managed to snap some pictures of the dogs, though. This is just to highlight the plight of the animals there, and maybe it'll motivate you fellows to give them a second shot at life?
Imprisonment? They don't deserve this. Why are people so irresponsible???
Please...Give me a home...A second chance...
Mom and pups. The harsh reality is, these young, nursing pups have to sleep on the cold concrete...Not a warm, cozy basket...They get wet often, and this is not a condusive environment for puppies this young...
The amount of animals abandoned far outnumber the ones adopted. SPCA is over-crowded, and some are forced to be euthanised. Give them a chance. How different are they from the puppy in the pet shop that costs 5 times more...

Cappucino: One of my personal favourites when I first started out. Reminds me of the first day I went dog-walking with Ee Lynn, and he fell into the drain. A strong, active fellow yet is an angel to walk and bathe.
Tian Tian: Came in timid, but is now the king of the Double Decker area. Admittedly, a little mad, but does not pass up a chance to get a cuddle from the SPCA staff. Caution must be exercised around him, though.=P
Sandy: The first SPCA dog I was given the privilege to name. Sweet little fellow...

Loads of dogs pics I really want to upload, but Blogger's kinda faulty today...Aihz...Oh well, some other time then...

YOU ARE ALL TAGGED...

YES.....YOU ARE ALL TAGGED.....

Ok, seeing that I'm the only one here who really is an active Blogger, and has my own personal blog, I suppose none of you have ever done a tag before. A tag is actually a post that requires a Blogger to answer questions, or post about a certain topic. Then, he/she can tag others, and they're compelled to do it as well. Its Blogger courtesy, you see. You can also call it a Meme, but I'm used to calling it a tag.

So anyway, I got tagged, and I've done it, so now, I TAG ALL THE AUTHORS OF THIS BLOG. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. It'll be really fun to see everyone's different answers.

Just repost all the questions below in your entry, and answer them. Its really simple and fun.

Enjoy your first ever tag!!! There'll be more, someday...

So, here's my tag.

1. Color of most clothes you own?
Hmmm...White, Black, and Blue (I think...lazy to check the cupboard)

2. Number of pillows you sleep with.
This is weird...It depends, really...Usually one or two...

3. Where are you right now?
In front of the computer, at home.

4. What are you doing 12 AM last night?
Blogging. Erm...Duh....

5. How old will you be in 10 years?
27

6. What do you think you'll be doing in 15 years?
If all goes well, and I manage to pursue my own dream, hopefully I'll find myself as a successful veterinarian, daily working with all sorts of animals, volunteering in SPCA, busying myself with the defence of animal rights...and as happy as heck!

7. Do you have braces?
Nope

8. Are you paranoid?
Kind of, sometimes, but it really depends on the situation. Though, being paranoid isn't always a bad thing...

9. Describe your wallet?
Firstly, its called purse. Hmmm...entirely brown, small flower in front, small teddy bear inside, and the Octaves Card at the back...

10. Your alarm clock?
My Mom!!! (Hey, no alarm clock on Earth can wake me up when my subconcious decides that it does't want to) But if I've got no choice, I use my cellphone as my alarm clock...

11. Your hair?
Short, Black, but plenty of stress-induced white hair...Aihz...Getting old...

12. Tooth brush?
Normal toothbrush, dunno the brand, and its green in colour.

13. What color are your eyes?
*searches for a mirror*...Hmmm...black? I dunno...

14. Unforgettable enemy?
Sorry...P&C...

15. First play/musical/performance?
Some dance thingy in kindergarten. Don't ask me for details...I've forgotten...

16. Last movie seen in cinema?
*edited* Nope, wasn't Ghostrider. It was Bridge to Terabithia, with Sharon, Ming Chu, Guo Joon, Hon Lin, etc...Man, that was one of the worse ever...Hoping to catch "Just Follow Law", though...

17. Last person you yelled at?
My dog. Don't ask.

JPA Interview

Shu here...

Thought I'd share my experience during the JPA interview, since until now, Jen hasn't posted here at all...*cough cough hint hint*

JPA interview is over...Yay...

Finally, the days of surfing ReCom, reading up on RMK 9, interrogating post-interviewees, and sorting out stacks of certs are over...

PS: Credits to Mom and Dad for doing all they could to prepare (you know, I think they were more gan cheong than me...) and to all those I've been bugging for information...

I was pretty much nervous for the entire day, but making a trip to school just to tie up lose ends really helped. Hey, I miss school so much, any trip back is fun...Back to the library, meeting madam, and the teachers...

Oh yeah, Pn. Beh gave me a LOOOOOOOOONG lecture on preparation for the interview...lol...

*fast-forward to the interview* (no mood to describe the hectic moments before...So stressed)

I got there pretty early..(2 hours early, to be precise) and after checking my panel (panel 1) and room (room 12), and schedule (test first, then interview), I just muled around Putrajaya Convention Center, randomly greeting familiar faces wherever I met them.

I bumped into Wei Yan there also. She was in the same group as Wil Sen. And very coincidental...She was interviewed by the exact same panel that interviewed Zhang Rei...Lol...

XL (my classmate in college) and I were uncertain for quite time whether we should register in front of our specific interview rooms, therefore we went up and down, in and out of the interview area and the exam area...What a sight we must have been, taking the escalator up and down...

The psychology test...282 questions and only half an hour...Luckily Jo Ann (string ensemble friend) warned me the day before that I had shade my answers fast, and that was exactly what I did. Nearly ran out of time, though. And well, occassionally I did stop to think, was I answering according to my own personal belief, or was I following some sort of norm with the questions (there are some questions you just have to say yes to...)

Man...did my hand ache from all that rushed shading after the exam...Not to mention it was freezing...Bad for my wrist, especially since it barely recovered from tendonitis...

Immediately after, we proceeded to the interview. There wasn't even enough time for me to go to the washroom!!! Well, lucky for me, that's not really a necessity, even when I'm nervous...

There were 5 people in my group; 2 Girls, and 3 Guys. Make that 3 engineers, a scientist, and the veterinarian.

Ok, everything did NOT go as expected. Yet, I mean that in a good way. For one thing, I had been gearing up for a long introduction (IN BM) with my absymal bahasa skills, and all the interviewers asked to state our name and course intended...IN ENGLISH...*sigh of relief*

The interview topics were way different as well. What with ReCom information on 3rd class mentality, uniforms and fast food (and RMK9, for that matter), I had spent the week brushing up on my knowledge in current issues, but guess what. The first topic, for the BM discussion was:

Anda berada di atas sebuah bot. Bot tersebut mempunyai 5 orang:

Pemandu bot
Diri anda sendiri
Seorang adik perempuan kecil
Seorang mak cik tua
Musuh anda

Tiba-tiba, bot dilanda ribut. Bot hanya dapat meyelamatkan 4 orang sahaja. Siapakah yang akan anda pilih untuk korbankan, dan mengapa.

????? =\

Oh well...At least it did give me a chance to state some nonsense in broken Malay. Didn't fare too badly, but nothing special either. My answer was actually rather similar to others.

The english topic, now that, was funny.

Decribe a cartoon character that best resembles you. (if not cartoons, any shows are fine...)

Uh oh...

Now for this one, I REALLY crapped. Somehow the cartoon character (no, I'm not going to reveal it online...Ask me personally if you really have to know) did allow me to mention about my own personality and passion. Other than my (anonymous) character, we had one Dexter, one Jimmy Neutron, one Doraemon (LOL) and one character from the movie 'Legally Blonde'.

I must say, I was rather lucky. My interview was held in a most light-hearted manner, and survived through it with that dorky (nervous-hiding) grin plastered on my face throughout the interview. Some of the panels, I heard, were far stricter and almost everyone had to discuss current issues.

Overall, I suppose I didn't do too badly, although there were much more I really should have said. The only problem that really Really REALLY botherd me was the air-conditioning!!! It was icy cold in the interview room, and for once, I did NOT have the sense to wear slacks or something like that. In fact, the rest of my group members were all clad in pants, even the girl. i was shaking and shivering noticeably...Couldn't stop it...Really hope they don't attribute that to fear of the interview...Oh well, forget it...I'm free from this JPA burden until the first week of May...

GOOD LUCK, all JPA applicants!!!

~~~
Thinking of a hell load of stuff...about myself and about others...Nothing anyone seems to be able to do, though...Not that they know...Nothing that should be placed on public domain...Just for me to ponder on...Probably, I'll just bury it, and wait until it resurfaces one day...
~~~

Oh yeah, I suppose my anime-fan friends (Yen, Kimm, Faye) will probably be gloating uncontrollably after they found out about this, but I actually did go look up some anime on youtube..And well, I suddenly found some interest for Code Geass...The first episode was undeniably entertaining...Hmmm...Maybe I should reconsider my "I-Don't-Watch-Anime" statement...=\

feeling happy!!!

-Lixian here again-
6th of April(yesterday) was Mei San birthday. As u all know,my class was was having Physics in d lab tat day. Before d class starts, while Mei San went out to refill her water bottle,my frren locked d lab door, dun let Mei San come in.Cos our whole class planned to sing a birthday song for her to surprise her. When v were ready,n she was out there waiting with a strange look-wondering why v lock d door,v slowly open d door,n sang to her.She was shocked..Haha..Then v took quite a few of class picture..

Saw Mei San?she's having short hair now.Cute?Haha
(Tat's my class-S3.)

Then at 2.30pm,i decided to have a small celebration for Mei San.I asked Kimberly to buy d cake. Thanks Kim again.I asked Sharon,GJ,Hon n Ty to join d celebration, but GJ can't make it.I also invited a FEW classmates tat r quite close to Mei San.Cos Mei San dun like big crowd. But end up,i notice tat there r 10 of us including Mei San.Tat's quite a lot right..Haha..My fren give Kim d idea how to ask Mei San to come down to d cafe for d celebration.

Kim:Mei San,i wanted to pass u something urgently, pls come to d cafe now.
San:(was doing smthg in d computer lab)Why can't u come to computer lab,cos

I'm doing smthg now.
Kim:But but my mum coming d.faster come to cafe la San:Haiz..OK la

Then when she came down, she was shocked for d 2nd time. Then she kept on asking Kim,'i tot ur mum coming d'with an innocent look..Haha..Then v took some pictures with Mei San.After eating d cake, she said she wanted to leave d cos really got important stuff to do.Cannot waste time.Zha dou..Then nv got no choice, but to let her go.After she leave,v all(YM,GJ,Hon,TY,Kim n my classmates)continue sitting in d cafe n started to chat.I introduced sharon they all to my classmates.N they got along very quickly, starting to tease each other somemore(especially teasing Hon)Haha..V took many pictures too.

*D girl with d hair band is Yee Kuan,d girl wearing green/coklat blouse is Henna(Ern Ern)and d girl wearing balck blouse is Michelle.N d Indian is Hema. All of them r in my class.=)

After that,me n my classmates plus Sharon,Kim n Hon went for an A-Levels night performance practice.KIm n HOn r going there too cos they got nothing to do.V sang a lot of songs(disco, tango style, rock n roll...).When d teacher asked d guys to sing it with more feeling, then Hon trying his best to voice out his feeling,It was so funny till all of us were laughing non-stop.sharon n my bulu were 'straight' at tat time..Lol..Anyway,v really have fun at that time.I'm looking forward for d next practice..

After college,i saw Vivien on her com. Then i curi curi use it.i visited my website again.N i saw my Malaysian Studies lecturer leave a comment bout d website. She had finish evaluating our website.Means officially, our website is fully done.Wee..After reading her comment,i was so happy. Her comment was like tat:-

Julie Tang: I commend Mei San, team leader, and your team members for having produced "the best possible solution."As a team, your strengths lay in your SHARED COMMITMENT to:excellent performance in research, content development and delivery, and site organisationeffective responses to specific lecturer demandsmeeting strict deadlines from beginning to endmutual accountability evident in your progress reportsproblem-solving, risk-taking and deision-makingpolishing preexisting skills and acquiring new skills "on the job"perseverance in completing the taskAs MS candidates, you proved to be patriotic, democractic and nation-loving and mature citizens. These values are clearly projected by your selection of topic. Your sense of timing in undertaking this task is excellent as Malaysians are currently more aware of the spread of communism among the non-Chinese population in the period studied. Ironically, however, your team consists of four individuals. Finally, as the saying goes, "Praise in Public, Criticise in Private".

.....

I'd better reply before you all say I 'dam' the blog which I created myself...

Lol...Lee Xin, teacher??!! Man, you must be unbelievably patient...If it were me...*cracks knuckles*...Haha...Somehow, it suits you, though...Maybe one day you'll become a fulltime teacher? LOL...

And Lixian, I'm positively thrilled that you're addicted to blogging already...Excellent...Now you guys see why I like blogging so much? And insight into Shu's world...Haha...

Anyway, I actually wanted to blog loads here, and in my own blog today. Problem is, the moment I came home today, my mom and I found that my dad didn't lock the dogs in properly at home. You see, usually Rocmond stays inside the house, whilst Junior and Phoebe stay outside. But because my mom and I had to balik kampung for my grandfather's birthday, and my dad went back for Cheng Beng, we decided to keep Junior in the house at well.

Everything would have been fine, except for the fact that my dad didn't lock the dogs in properly, and when I came back, it was like OMGWTHBBQ!!! There was pee and poo all over the house, all the letters were half-eaten, the box for my music stand was destroyed, and they even took some of my soft toys!

Mom was like, "clear that up yourself", so I spent the next two hours cleaning, scrubbing and moping every inch of the house. *tired*

You know, those of you with maids are very lucky...No need to do work like this...

So, couldn't post much...Aihz...

Oh yeah, any one of you apply for JPA scholarship? When is your interview? I'm so nrvous...Hoping that some of you guys can teman me......

(PS: Sorry that I don't post much here nowadays...Cos nowadays, really really stressed out...Loads of things are happening...Mood also not good....)
